58 HOHA Volunteers are on their way to East Gippsland to help bushfire affected residents, volunteers, firefighters and army personnel who are in the fire affected areas and need a therapeutic touch.
Chiropractors, myotherapists, osteopaths, massage therapists and mental health counsellors have heard the call to help out in Bairnsdale, Buchan, Swan Reach and Swift Creek starting Tuesday the 21 January.
We’ve even got a labradoodle going to help and soothe people on the ground.
The volunteers will be using their own vehicles to travel there and accommodation has been donated when they’re there.
Support has also been given by the Australian Chiropractors Association, Bioceuticals and Isowhey.
The picture was taken during the 2009 bushfires with our volunteers working in Healesville.
