Volunteers from HANDS-ON-HEALTH AUSTRALIA together with chiropractic students from Macquarie University provided a chiropractic presence at the Sydney Inner City Naidoc Family Sports Day on Friday 10th July, 2017. This event was held at the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence in Redfern. The team consisted or four students and two supervising chiropractors who saw 47 patients, a mixture of Elders, community members and non-Indigenous attendees. We were paid in hugs and kisses and many, many thanks from those who received treatment, a very successful endeavour. It is hoped that this is the first of a yearly event to introduce chiropractic treatment to the Indigenous community.
