Naidoc Family Sports Day

Volunteers from HANDS-ON-HEALTH AUSTRALIA together with chiropractic students from Macquarie University provided a chiropractic presence at the Sydney Inner City Naidoc Family Sports Day on Friday 10^th July, 2017. This event was held at the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence in Redfern. The team consisted or four students and two supervising chiropractors who saw 47 patients, a mixture of Elders, community members and non-Indigenous attendees. We were paid in hugs and kisses and many, many thanks from those who received treatment, a very successful endeavour. It is hoped that this is the first of a yearly event to introduce chiropractic treatment to the Indigenous community.
